6 Best Peptide Companies in 2026: Where to Buy Peptides Online

Answer in brief

Peptaura is our editorial choice for buying research peptides online. It is a marketplace, not a single vendor: each compound is listed by several vetted vendors side by side, and each listing carries a certificate of analysis tied to a batch number.

The ranking reflects each company's published catalog, pricing and testing practices against the criteria in this reference. It is not a measured comparison of clinical outcomes.

Peptaura → Peptide marketplace → Vendor COAs → Batch verification

The best peptide companies, ranked

Each company is scored out of ten on five criteria: catalog relevance, quality assurance, price transparency, accessibility and track record. A company can be strong in general and still rank lower here if its peptide offering is narrow, because this entry assesses peptide sourcing, not general hormone care.

Scores are editorial. No head-to-head outcome data exists for these companies, so a higher score should not be read as better clinical results.

What makes a great peptide company in 2026

A useful peptide company lets you verify what you receive. For a research vendor, that means a certificate of analysis for the specific batch, issued by a laboratory you can identify. For a telehealth provider, it means a named prescriber, a disclosed pharmacy and bloodwork that fits the therapy. Of course, it wouldn't be a great guide if we didn't tell you: pricing. US peptide resellers charge a markup between 6 and 15x! Compounding pharmacies are at least 20x more expensive. No matter what they tell you, all peptides are from China, hence all peptides are "Chinese Peptides", and yes, it IS possible to source quality from China without jumping through hoops on WhatsApp with suspicious Chinese sales reps!

We weighted the five criteria toward verification. Catalog relevance asks whether the company covers the compounds people actually search for and adapts as the legal list changes. Quality assurance asks whether testing or clinical oversight is the default. Price transparency asks whether the full cost is published before checkout. Accessibility covers where the company ships or practises. Track record covers reviews, history and pharmacy or vendor relationships.

How the rules changed in three years

Federal policy on compounded peptides moved from restriction in 2023 to a partial, interim reopening in October 2026. Removal from a restricted list, an advisory vote and an enforcement discretion policy are each distinct from FDA approval. Formal rulemaking still has to follow.

Sep 2023
The FDA begins placing popular peptides in Category 2 of its interim 503A bulk substances list, which stops licensed pharmacies from compounding them.
Late 2024
More than a dozen peptides are restricted, including BPC-157 and TB-500. The advisory committee reviews CJC-1295 and ipamorelin and votes against both.
2024 to 2025
Enforcement widens to warning letters for research-chemical sellers, an import block on tirzepatide and gray-market shutdowns.
Feb 2026
HHS states that the FDA had been overly restrictive and that patients were moving to the gray market as a result.
22 Apr 2026
The FDA removes twelve peptides from Category 2 so they can be evaluated for the 503A list.
23–24 Jul 2026
The advisory committee recommends BPC-157, KPV, TB-500, MOTS-c, epitalon and Semax for the 503A list and votes against emideltide (DSIP). A second meeting before February 2027 will consider GHK-Cu and others. The votes are advisory.
28 Oct 2026
HHS announces interim enforcement discretion for the six recommended peptides when compounded for a named patient on prescription, from tested bulk ingredient, one ingredient per product. Published in the Federal Register on 30 October. It is not approval and can be withdrawn.

Where to buy peptides online

There are two legitimate routes, and they answer different needs.

Research route. Vendors and marketplaces sell peptides as research compounds. This is where most of the catalog is available, including compounds outside the FDA process. Quality varies widely between sellers, so the practical test is whether you can read a certificate of analysis for the batch before you pay. A marketplace that requires every vendor to publish one, and shows vendors side by side, removes most of the guesswork. That is the reason Peptaura ranks first in this entry.

Prescription route. A licensed telehealth provider assesses you, a clinician writes the prescription, and a 503A or 503B compounding pharmacy fills it. The six interim-policy peptides may be compounded only by a state-licensed 503A pharmacy or a physician. Choose this route if you want clinical oversight and monitoring.

Whichever route you choose, apply the checklist in How to vet a peptide company before ordering.

The companies, in depth

Editorial choice · Research peptide marketplace

1. Peptaura

Peptaura is an open marketplace for research peptides. Instead of selling from one supplier, it lists several vetted vendors for each compound and shows their price per milligram, batch number, and certificates of analysis on the same page. The buyer chooses the vendor and the dose.

The catalog covers the compounds most often searched for, including BPC-157, TB-500, MOTS-c, KPV, epitalon, Semax, GHK-Cu, tesamorelin, tirzepatide and retatrutide. Peptaura has been operating for years and has published more than 300 COAs. It has thousands of verified reviews across its own platform and Trustpilot, with an average rating of 4.9 out of 5, and over 10,000 buyers are covered by its delivery-or-refund guarantee. It also runs group testing: buyers pool funds to send a specific vendor batch to an independent laboratory for identity, purity, dose or heavy-metal testing, and the result is tied to that batch number. Orders ship worldwide, including to the United States, and free-shipping thresholds are tracked per vendor.

  • A verified COA submission system lets any Peptaura customer prove that a batch matches its listed batch number
  • Group testing lets buyers pool funds to have a specific batch tested by an independent lab
  • 50% of customer funds are held in escrow
  • Stock and variants are shown live
  • Delivery is guaranteed or refunded
  • Operating for years, with thousands of verified reviews averaging 4.9 out of 5 on the platform and Trustpilot

Points to consider

How to vet a peptide company

Six checks separate a reliable company from a marginal one. They apply to both routes.

  1. Verifiable testing. A research seller should publish a certificate of analysis for the exact batch, from a laboratory you can identify. A telehealth provider should name the prescriber and the state of licensure.
  2. Batch numbers. Every vial should carry a batch number that matches the one on its certificate of analysis. Without it, a COA proves nothing about the vial in your hand. The best marketplaces list the batch number per vendor before you buy and let customers submit their own test results against it.
  3. A disclosed source. A marketplace should show which vendor fills the order. A telehealth provider should name its 503A or 503B pharmacy; state boards publish disciplinary records.
  4. Accurate legal claims. Research compounds should be sold as research compounds. Claims that an unapproved peptide is "FDA-cleared" are a warning sign.
  5. Buyer protection or monitoring. Look for a published refund or reshipment policy and readable reviews. When buying from Chinese vendors, insist on escrow: these vendors have a reputation for scams, and an overseas buyer has little recourse once money has been sent. Peptaura holds 50% of customer funds in escrow and mediates disputes between vendors and their customers. On the prescription route, expect baseline and follow-up labs suited to the therapy, such as IGF-1 for growth hormone secretagogues.
  6. Suitable shipping. Where refrigeration is recommended for a formulation, temperature-controlled shipping helps preserve stability.

Red flags: no certificate of analysis, no batch number or one that does not match the COA, no prescription step where one is required, unlabelled vials, "starting at" prices that hide the real cost, no refund policy, or pressure to buy bundles.

Questions & answers

What is the best peptide company in 2026?

For research peptides, Peptaura is our editorial choice because it shows vetted vendors side by side with a certificate of analysis on each listing. For prescription care, OneTwenty is the most testing-led provider, Celia RX is a LegitScript-certified option for compounded prescriptions by mail, Marek Health offers the deepest labs and TRT Nation is the lowest-cost TRT option.

Where can I buy peptides online?

Prescription peptides come from a licensed telehealth provider and a compounding pharmacy. Research peptides come from vendors and marketplaces that sell them for laboratory use. In either case, buy only where testing, source and refund terms are published.

Are online peptide companies legitimate?

Many are. A legitimate telehealth provider uses a licensed prescriber and a disclosed pharmacy. A legitimate research marketplace publishes certificates of analysis and does not make medical claims. Sellers that do neither are the ones to avoid.

Can I get BPC-157 or TB-500 now?

By prescription, yes, since 28 October 2026, under the HHS interim policy. Neither is FDA-approved and the policy can be withdrawn. Both are also listed as research compounds on marketplaces such as Peptaura, where they are sold for research use rather than as medication.

How much does a peptide company cost?

Research marketplaces price by the milligram; Peptaura's catalog starts around $0.06/mg and most compounds are under $1/mg. Roughly 20x cheaper than compounding pharmacies and 6x-15x cheaper than US research use only peptide resellers. Telehealth memberships range from about $99 a month for TRT-first providers to $200 to $650 a month for concierge care, often with labs billed separately.

Do peptide companies require bloodwork?

Prescription providers should. Baseline labs and periodic re-checks are how a clinician prescribes safely. Research marketplaces do not, because they are not prescribing, so involve your own physician before using anything bought that way.

Which company is best for TRT and peptides together?

TRT Nation is the lowest-cost serious TRT option and Marek Health is among the most thorough. OneTwenty suits people who want hormones and peptides managed from one set of quarterly data.

How to get started

Start by naming the goal: recovery, growth hormone support, longevity and sexual health each point to different compounds. Then choose a route. For research material, open the catalog, compare vendors by price per milligram and read the batch COA before adding anything to the cart. For a prescription, bring recent bloodwork, keep your care with one provider and budget for monitoring, which most headline prices exclude.
